This project aimed to analyse the subject matter from a gender perspective in a bid to identify how different forms of violence, harassment and bullying in schools effects girls and boys. Furthermore, this study delved into more detail on how students might go through these forms of abuse due to other grounds of discrimination, alongside their gender. An analysis of the structures in place to prevent or combat violence, harassment and bullying in schools was also carried out.
Services provided under this Framework contract included data collection, research, interviewing, verification of information, report writing in the fields of Gender equality, Gender based violence and Gender Mainstreaming.
Delivery of seminars aimed at sensitizing participants, particularly employees at managerial and supervisory levels, about the diverse characteristics which make up the workforce; to brief them about the requirements of the relevant legislation, with particularly reference to the specific policies of the organization; and to present concrete strategies that can be utilized to implement effective diversity management to promote harmony and productivity amongst the workforce.
Delivery of a session aimed at providing participants with the background leading to the ‘Women on the Board Pledge for Europe’, with a particular focus on the economic and business case for better gender balance in company boardrooms and management; which will service as a platform to create an interactive brainstorming session on concrete measures that can be adopted in order to contribute towards this initiative.
As a sub-contractor to the main contractor, our role mainly entails research and report writing in the fields of access to justice, gender equality and violence against women.

The project entailed various components, including training, research and awareness raising, aimed at mainstreaming diversity and equality, including gender equality, within the tourism industry. Weave Consulting was a sub-contractor to the main contractor in the implementation of this project.
A joint initiative set up by Fimbank. Plc, Eden Leisure Group, Pender Ville Ltd. And St. George’s Park La Vallette Resort, aimed at creating a concerted effort to highlight the current state of affairs in the hamlet of Paceville, St. Julians, and to call upon the relevant authorities to take concrete action to redress the situation. Services provided included research, document drafting, liaison with public entities, representation of group during meetings, and media liaison.

Weave Consulting was engaged to provide consultancy in the implementation of this project, and the tasks assigned to it in pursuance of this contract entailed attending a train the trainer workshop and a study visit in Sweden in order to strengthen knowledge in the field of gender mainstreaming; attending Bilateral meetings with high level officials within all the Ministries in Malta in order to revive the agenda for gender mainstreaming , mobilize commitment and set out a way forward; developing and delivering gender mainstreaming training to key officials in all the Ministries in Malta; supervising the implementation of gender impact assessments of a number of key policy documents; as well as supervising the development of a Guide for Gender Impact Assessment, a Checklist for Gender Impact Assessment, and other relevant tools.
Weave Consulting was engaged as a sub-contractor to the main contractor in order to carry out in-depth interviews and draft and publish articles based on the findings of the interviews and overview of pertinent legislation.
